SUBJECT: An easy Scribd tip you're going to love! Hi [Name] After reading “Scribd Marketing Basics”, I hope you had time to register and make yourself known to the community. And that you were able to upload a document, just to get started. One question I’ve been asked recently is this: “It takes time to create a product – time I don’t have. Is there a quick way to fast uploading something to Scribd?” Sure there is! Why don’t you start out with a simple “tip sheet?” You can make it one page long. You can give it a graphic cover sheet. (If you aren’t a graphics whiz, just use a photo!) And an attention-grabbing title – one that isn’t too “clever” and coy. Just something like “15 Tips for Making Ice Cream”... or whatever your specialty. (People are always looking for tips – so make sure you give them your best ones! And of course, make sure what you produce is relevant to your niche. You know, you might think this is too simple, but sometimes the document people prize the most highly is also the simplest. (I have a tip sheet given to me, back when I started, that’s still on my bulletin board!) And that’s the sort of content you want to give your readers – and “15 tips” really is the quickest way to do it! (Or 10, or even 7…) Warmly, NAME P.S.
